Issuematic
 |
Issuematic is Storefront's web-based content and publication management tool that manages production workflow between publishers, editors and content contributors.
The system's content and workflow management features allow a distributed content team to efficiently execute, coordinate, manage and generate the production of an electronic publication. Issuematic's content assembly and workflow coordination system is ideal for automated electronic publications and distributed web developments.

Issuematic's flexible design allows web designers to easily create page templates using standard html (or other text based markup languages) that contain Issuematic's "<ZONE>" definition tags. Issuematic's content zones ultimately contain text that gets approved then assembled within the page templates at page creation (publication) time to generate the many pages of a published issue.
A site's critical design and navigation elements can be protected in the actual template or stored in secure "admin zones", while general "content zones" can be created to hold work assignments for particular contributing authors.
Issuematic's "zones" are assigned by the publisher to the editors, then by the editors to the contributors who are electronically informed of their work assignments. Contributors develop and submit content online, and the editors are automatically notified of the work assignment awaiting approval. Using a web browser, editors can approve, edit, track or reassign content assignments. Once the editor approves all the content on a page the publisher is automatically notified for final approval. Once the pages of an issue are approved, the issue is ready to be published manually or automatically using Issuematic's scheduled publication features.
